Biography

Sam handles cases in all areas of U.S. immigration law, with a focus on employment-based immigration, including representing investors and project developers in complex EB-5 matters, as well as family-based immigration, humanitarian-based immigration, and naturalization. After beginning his career with SCHWARTZ POSEL Immigration Law Group as a paralegal in 2003, Sam decided to attend law school in 2011. Sam graduated as the valedictorian of Atlanta's John Marshall Law School in 2014 and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2015. Sam is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and currently serves on AILA’s USCIS Operations Committee. He previously served on AILA’s Board of Governors from 2022-2023 during his term as the Chair of the Georgia-Alabama Chapter of AILA. Sam served on the Executive Committee of the Georgia-Alabama Chapter of AILA from 2018-2024 and is currently the Co-Chair of the Chapter’s USCIS liaison committee. Originally from Ann Arbor, MI, Sam and his family currently make their home in Atlanta.
